The Japanese brand Honda revealed more information about the HR-V SUV newest version.
It is marked as Sport and has different suspension and chassis settings, as well as interior and exterior.
To start with, the engine is the new four-cylinder 1.5-litre petrol VTEC TURBO which was presented last year in the latest Civic generation. It has 182 hp and better dynamics. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox but an automatic transmission is also selectable.
The SUV is offered with the technology for highly-effective shock absorbers, known officially "Performance Damper". They are mounted on both the front and rear of the vehicle and lower the side shaking, reduce vibration on uneven surfaces and, overall, improve stability. The car has the new Honda technology AHA (Agile Handling Assist) to maintain control during cornering.
The front gets a new design with a black panel chrome and copper accents on the grill. Black is also the dominant colour among the other sporty components -a thin front splitter, wings, side mirrors and the more aggressive look of the back bumper. The model has LED lights as standard.
The interior continues in the same sporty manner. Front seats are improved for better side support. The interior is in black and red with black having a priority.
