The hybrid system combines the power of a 97 kW (132 Hp), 156 Nm (115 lb.⋅ft.) 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 22 kW (30 Hp), 160 Nm (118 lb.⋅ft.) electric motor and produces a combined output of 152 Hp and 190 Nm (140.14 lb.-ft.) of torque.
Honda HR-V 1.6 diesel variants are quite fuel efficient, consumption figures being 3.9 - 4 l/100 km (60.31 - 58.8 mpg). 1.6 petrol ones, on the other hand, are on the less efficient side, with fuel economy of 8.4 – 8.6 l/100 km (28 – 27.35 mpg).
Third generation Honda HR-V variants offer 657 - 688 l (25.87 – 57.09 cu. ft.) of boot space, having the ability to be increased to 1631 – 1665 l (64.21 – 65.55 cu. ft.) with the rear seats down.
The Honda HR-V has received a lot of positive reviews from owners, who describe the model as practical, well-built, safe, and durable, having no major common issues, that require frequent and costly repairs.
