The conceptual SUV is in its base a re-designed Volkswagen Atlas, but with more sportier features - inside and outside.
Air Design body kit, modified suspension with increased ground clearance, a special bicycle carrier, LED elements, special cargo trailer, foldable awning, mini sink and fridge, portable hot shower and WC, and 17-inch special off-road rims are part of the trim package Volkswagen Atlas Basecamp concept will display.
Under the bonnet of the sporty SUV, Volkswagen uses a 3,6-l petrol VR6 (280 hp) engine powerplant, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an AWD 4Motion.
It is still unclear whether or not the concept will become a real production car, but the German brand hopes that one day they will be able to offer such a machine to their sport-loving customers.
