While there is not an all-electric Porsche Panamera vehicle, hybrid variants are available – either Full or Plug-in, in each generation range.
Fuel economy of Internal combustion engine variants is between 6.4 l/100 km (36.75 mpg) (2013 Porsche Panamera (G1 II) 3.0 diesel V6 (300 Hp) Tiptronic) and 12.5 l/100 km (18.82 mpg) (2009 Porsche Panamera (G1) S 4.8 V8 (400 Hp)). The Porsche Panamera is not focused solely on performance, as some earlier Porsche vehicles were, meaning interior was of importance. According to owners, it’s perfectly designed, using high-quality materials and latest technology, with controls positions being perfect, taking driver's position and reach into consideration.
Porsche Panamera is available as either a 4- or a 5-seater, with liftback variants having 4 seats and station wagon variants having 5 seats.
All Porsche Panamera vehicles from 2017 onwards are all-wheel-drive. Until then, rear-wheel-drive variants were also included in the range.
The latest Porsche Panamera Turbo S has a 4.0-liter BiTurbo V8 engine, which delivers 630 hp to the four wheels and accelerates the vehicle up to 315 km/h (196 mp/h).
