Porsche’s new 911 (922) Turbo S will soon be available for configuration with two brand new trims – Lightweight and Sports packages.
The idea behind the new packages’ arrival is to additionally enhance and optimize the car’s performance in every possible way.
The first one, Lightweight, as its name states, cuts off a lot of the vehicle's mass – making the car faster, more agile and fun to drive.
This happens via the option of removing the rear set of seats, as well as replacing the conventional sound insulation with a specially developed soundproof glass.
Additionally, the regular Turbo S seats can be replaced with more lightweight, bucket ones. Also, the usual exhaust system gives way to a new, more optimized dual-exhaust one.
As for the car’s stability and sports performance, Porsche’s team of engineers have utilized the PASM sports suspension.

Each one of the above-mentioned components of the Lightweight trim can be ordered and added to the car separately.
The second one, Sports package, upgrades the Turbo S with a unique design of the taillights which enhances the vehicle’s dynamic and racing character. The package features also massive dark silver wheels and a variety of glossy decorative accents.
Porsche 911 (922) Turbo S coupe version comes with a carbon-fiber roof – in addition to the rest of the amenities.
The exciting new packages are still not available in Porsche’s configurator. They’ll be officially launched at some point during the summer of 2020.
