During the first days of Geneva International Motor Show, Nissan debuted IMq concept. The concept crossover is meant to pave the way for the upcoming next-gen Qashqai.
What captivates attention is the unusual exterior design that nods to the future of the automotive industry. But what really makes it special is its incredible length of 4,5 meters, V-shaped headlights' details, panoramic roof and rear doors that open opposite to the driving direction.
Under the hood of IMq's are placed 2 electric motors with a combined power of 340 hp and 700 Nm rpm. Besides that, IMq is equipped with a 1,5-liter petrol engine unit that serves as a generator for battery recharge.
Nissan promises that the next-gen Qashqai will enter the market in 2020. What's more important is the fact that the future crossover will be available with traditional petrol and diesel units, as well as hybrid systems.
