The Maybach sub-brand was introduced to the S-Class lineup in the model’s sixth generation in 2015, with both sedan and cabriolet versions. It offered an even higher level of luxury, competing with brands, such as Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Maybach variants are also available the latest (as of 2022) seventh S-Class generation, revealed in 2020 and released in the following 2021.
