Combined fuel economy varies between 3.6 l/ 100 km (65.34 mpg) and 7.1 l/ 100 km (33.13 mpg), with most variants actually being around the middle – 5 l/ 100 km (47 mpg).

Most fuel efficient are the Plug-in versions in the Mercedes-Benz A-Class range – the (V177/ W177) A 250e EQ Power DCT variants, with fuel consumption as low as 1.4 l/100 km (168.01 mpg). From the internal combustion engine only variants, lowest consumption is achieved by the Mercedes-Benz A-class (W176, facelift 2015) A 180d BlueEFFICIENCY Edition - 3.5 l/100 km (67.2 mpg).

Lowest output in the fourth generation AMG range is 306 Hp and 400 Nm of torque, delivered by the AMG A 35 4MATIC DCT. Next is the AMG A 45 4MATIC+ DCT, offering 387 Hp and 480 Nm of torque. Both reach a top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). Highest output of 421 Hp and 500 Nm of torque is delivered by the AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ DCT, reaching the highest top speed, as well - 270 km/h (167.77 mph).

There are four alternatives available for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz A-Class engine size. Petrol options are 1.6 l | 1595 cm3 | 97.33 cu. in. and 2.0 l | 1991 cm3 | 121.5 cu. in., and diesel - 1.5 l | 1461 cm3 | 89.16 cu. in. and 2.1 l | 2143 cm3 | 130.77 cu. in.

Size of the screen is what will vary in the different trims. The base trim is equipped with two 7-inch displays (17.78 cm), whereas upper trims has either one 7-inch and one 10.25-inch (26 cm) display or two 10.25-inch displays.
