The Italian carmaker, Lamborghini, plans to enhance its very first SUV – the Urus, but with a sportier version.
Lamborghini plans to re-use the ST-X concept, as a basis, for the upcoming special edition Urus. What's so special about the ST-X is that it's lighter than the standard base Urus with 25% and comes with a massive air intakes, a variety of carbon details, sports exhaust system and 21-inch wheels.
Under the bonnet is hidden a 4.0 L petrol engine (650 hp @ 850 Nm), paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. The Italian carmaker plans to add a hybrid powertrain to the ST-X in the nearer future.
No further information has been disclosed. The release date of the enhanced Urus is also still a mystery. However, speculations claim that it is quite likely that the Lamborghini will showcase the "new Urus" in 2020.
