The facelifted fifth generation of Honda CR-V range doesn’t consist of hybrids only, but it does offer a hybrid option. The hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with Honda's i-MMD hybrid system.
Two powertrain options are available in the 2019 Honda CR-V: a 1.5-liter (1498 cm3 | 91.41 cu. in.) 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a hybrid option - a 2.0-liter (1993 cm | 121.62 cu. in.) 4-cylinder petrol engine with Honda's i-MMD hybrid system.
Several output options are available for the 2.0 petrol variants in the Honda CR-V range. First generation vehicles, equipped with 2.0-liter petrol engines produce either 128 Hp or 147 Hp, 182 Nm. This output was slightly increased to 150 Hp and 192 Nm of torque in the second and third generations and to 155 Hp and 192 Nm of torque in the following fourth. Fifth generation 2.0 petrol powertrains are also equipped with hybrid technology and produce 215 Hp and 175 Nm of torque.
1.6 i-DTEC (120 Hp) and 2.0 (215 Hp) Hybrid e-CVT variants are the most fuel efficient in the Honda CR-V range, with consumption figures as low as 4.4 l/ 100 km (53.46 mpg).
Honda CR-V, equipped with all-wheel-drive systems, are designed to perform well in a variety of weather conditions, including snow.
