Inspired by the idea of offering its clients the ultimate exclusivity and comfort, the manufacturer spends a few years working on the exterior, interior, and the technical part. The result of the hard work was showcased during the 2016 NYAS.
Following the brand’s unique design language, G70 shares visual similarity to other successful models – G80 and G90.
Since its official release, Genesis G70 has just one generation with 6 modifications in it. The engines implemented are a 2.0 T-GDi, a 2.2D, and a 3.3 T-GDi V6 Sport. The generated horsepower vary from 202 hp up to 370 hp (for the Sport modification). G70 model’s engines are paired with either an 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. The latter is implemented in the RWD versions of the G70 line. Two of the aggregates are with a diesel common rail fuel system – the 2.2D ones. The rest are with direct injection.
When equipped with the 3.3 liter V6 under its bonnet, the stylish G70 is capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.7 seconds.
