Ford has officially revealed the next-gen Focus - an ST hatchback, offering both petrol and diesel variations.
The petrol unit features a 2,3-litres turbo EcoBoost powerplant with a total of 280 hp, while the 2,0-liters EcoBlue turbodiesel reaches up to 190 hp. Both, diesel and petrol versions of the new ST can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission. But what really makes the ST Focus hatchback special are the modified suspension, the redesigned steering wheel, reinforced brakes, and an electronic locking differential. A brake-based torque vectoring system is also available as an option, but only for the diesel package.
