Fiat Panda is a small city car, that measures between 3435 mm (135.24 in.) and 3705 mm (145.87 in.) in length, 1500 mm (59.06 in.) and 1672 mm (65.83 in.) in width, and 1485 mm (58.46 in.) and 1657 mm (65.24 in.) in height, with more recent model years variants being the larger ones in the range.
Fiat Panda is a small lightweight car, having curb weight of between 1115 kg (2458.15 lbs.) and 1155 kg (2546.34 lbs.), depending on the variant.
The whole Fiat Panda range consists of vehicles, that offer great fuel efficiency. Some variants, such as the Panda City Cross 1.3 Multijet II (95 Hp), have fuel consumption figures of as low as 3.7 l/100 km (63.57 mpg).
Fiat Panda vehicles, equipped with 1.2-liter petrol engines, have fuel economy of between 4.9 l/100 km (48 mpg) and 6.6 l/100 km (35.64 mpg), depending on the variant.
Fiat Panda Cross has two engine options - a 0.9-liter (875 cm3 | 53.4 cu. in.) 2-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.2-liter (1248 cm3 | 76.16 cu. in.) 4-cylinder diesel engine.
So far, no fully-electric Fiat Panda variant has been made available. A mild hybrid, however, is included as an option in the most recent Fiat Panda City Cross range.
Fiat’s reputation for reliability is mixed and so is that of the Panda model. While most owners praise it for being affordable and practical, some have also reported serious issues with the car, related to the engine, engine electrics and suspension. Another problem has to do with safety, as the City Cross received terrible Euro NCAP safety ratings.
