Fiat Doblo is generally a fuel efficient vehicle. Variants, powered by 1.9 MultiJet engines, have consumption figures of between 5.8 l/100 km (40.55 mpg) and 7.2 l/100 km (32.67 mpg).

All Fiat Doblo vehicles, equipped with 2.0-liter engines, can produce 135 Hp and 320 Nm of torque.

First generation Fiat Doblo has one 7-seat variant, the rest of its range being able to only seat 5. For the second generation, seats were increased for all vehicles to 6 for the pre-facelift, and to 7 for the facelift versions.

Reviews from owners show that Fiat Doblo does not perform very well in terms of reliability. Many experience common issues quite often, ranging from easy-to-fix electrical malfunctions to far more serious suspension and engine problems.
