Chrysler introduced the SRT back in 2011, during the NYAS event. Under the bonnet of the stylish notchback, a powerful 6.4 l. 392 HEMI V8 powerplant was installed. An outstanding exterior features like lower front bumper, 20-inch alloys and large exhaust pipes gave the vehichle promiment masculine outline. Chrysler axed the model for the U.S. just three years after it was introduced. However, SRT-8 is still on sale in New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East - mostly as a police car under the name Chrysler Enforcer.
The C in the name is simply a way for the manufacturer to separate the luxurious versions from the more basic ones.
