Bentley Motors starts the new 2020 with a prize. Their latest concept EXP 100 GT is a futuristic centenary that represents the manufacturer's vision how Grand Touring could look in the far 2035. The amazing work of art has recently won the trophy for "Most Beautiful Concept Car of the Year" at the French Festival Automobile International, also known as "Automotive Fashion Week".
Bentley's Director of design claims that EXP 100 GT is not just the next concept car, but a vision for the future of luxury mobility. Combining precise craftsmanship, modern technologies and exceptional performance, the futuristic vehicle is dedicated to the intelligent forward-thinking customers of the iconic brand.

Implemented AI (Artificial Intelligence) makes the EXP 100 GT a part of the digital world, providing an extraordinary experience for both the driver and passengers of the car. Reimagining the Grand Tourer, the concept vehicle incorporates a fully electric platform. The stunning exterior impresses not only with its dimensions but also with its perfect balance between the classic Bentley elements from the iconic Grand Tourer and the luxurious hallmarks of the future. The result can be summed up in just one word - a masterpiece.
From the inside, an elegantly sculpted cabin welcomes its passengers into a futuristically harmonious environment. The integrated Bentley Personal Assistant is the mind and soul of the car, that takes care for the well-being of all occupants. The EXP 100 GT amazes with unique craftsmanship. A smart decision is a connection between the outside nature and the car's interior. For the cabin are used some extraordinary materials and techniques.
The first interesting decision is to use light as a material. The vehicle's large glass roof will have a technology able to harvest natural light via prisms and to projects it into the cabin through fibre optics. This way, the whole space inside the car will provide unique cosiness and comfort.

The innovative car will feature a new air curating technology via the Artificial Intelligence "Capture mode". In this way, the air in the cabin can provide different fragrances depending on passengers' demands. In case of city trips with the roof down, the AI will activate a purifier, then will fill the interior with fresh and clean air.
The most impressive material in the cabin is the 5000 years-old Copper Infused Riverwood. This carbon-dated oak has been preserved in the basin of a lake in East England and now, 5000 years later, the Riverwood specialists have supplied it for the latest concept of Bentley. To reveal the full beauty of the oak, and inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, the famous manufacturer uses recycled copper that's been infused in the wood. Thus, the natural flaws of the material are highlighted by shiny copper accents.
One more eco-friendly decision is the material used for the upholstery. Bentley's collaborators from VEGEA has developed a technology for production of leather-like textile through recycling wine wastes like grape skins and seeds. The high-quality material is used widely in the seats of EXP 100 GT.
One more sustainable idea is the usage of Cumbria Crystal for the oval centrepiece - one of the voice-activated AI consoles with a holographic display. This masterpiece has been hand-blown and hand-cut in collaboration with the last remaining producer of crystals in the UK.

The digital future is implemented in the car's windows. Augmented reality technology curates the views and allows the passengers to enhance their travel with various content and activities. The smart glass works as a wearable lens and augments the nature and reality, giving a new meaning for the in-car entertainment. Not only passengers's windows are enhanced with this modern technology. The windshield offers it too. While travelling to unknown places, an educational content will be displayed on the embedded interface via AR technology. In this way, the car cabin will provide a more deep understanding of the unfamiliar territory for both the driver and occupants. Engaging them with the surrounding world will turn the trips in the new EXP 100 GT into an unforgettable journey to the future.
In terms of comfort, we cannot pass the biometric function of the car's seats. Depending on whether the driver is active or the autonomous modes is on, the seats are designed to monitor body temperature, seating position and other important conditions to provide excellent comfort and cosiness for all passengers. The seats adjust automatically its features, depending on how long the trip is going to be. The futuristic seats also offer ergonomic shape and can provide massage or muscle stimulation on demand.

The sustainable ideas don't stop with the interior. The beating heart of the luxurious concept vehicle is just one more eco-friendly decision. The all-electric vehicle will be supplied with 4 motors, providing a softer impact on the environment. The next-gen Traction Drive is lighter by 35% and 50% more powerful than before. The designated top speed is 300kmph. The used torque vectoring will provide excellent control of the EXP 100 GT when cornering or just curving. The power of the amazing concept car will be stored via Solid-State Battery technology, to ensure higher charge density. Fast charging is a part of the innovations also. Only 15 minutes into a 500kW charger will be enough to recharge up to 80%. The expected range of the vehicle is estimated to 700km.
EXP 100 GT is built in collaboration with partners from all over the world to provide an extraordinary journey from both outside and inside the luxurious vehicle. The vehicle's AI library stores various memories from each journey so they can be reused again in the future. The design of each detail and every technology are precisely developed to comfort occupants from all ages, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly trip for all distances.
