Aston Martin Vantage Roadster 2021 finally drops its camouflage. The stylish coupe has all the carmaker’s distinctive design elements, technological precision, and exquisite hand-built technique. The 2021 Vantage Roadster is a combination of an unprecedented elegance of the outlines and aerodynamic silhouette.
Under the front bonnet of the vehicle, Aston Martin has put a powerful 4.0 L V8 twin-turbo engine, generating 510 hp. It is combined with an updated 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
Though 60 kg heavier than its Cabriolet version, Vantage Roadster 2021 can boast about its staggering agility, stability, and comfort. This directly results from the unique Z-fold mechanism of the folding roof. Thanks to its lightweight, the revolutionary apparatus is significantly lighter than the one used in the coupe variant.

Specially developed structural shear panels and chassis parts turn this Aston into an ultimate road runner, suitable for both daily commutes and speed chases. That’s because those elements make the car’s structure more durable and flexible, at the same time. Thought the implemented Adaptive Damping, Dynamic Stability Control, and Torque Vectoring, and the Electronic Rear Differential, are the same as the ones used in the Coupe variant, the Vantage Roadster’s performance is different.
The Roadster 2021 version is more athletic. Major contributors for this are the automobile’s rear dampers (re-tuned to fit the technical requirements of the Roadster) and the calibrated ESP system.
The sporting spirit of the new Vantage is most clear through the three driving modes–Sport, Sport + and Track. Each one of them offers the driver one of a kind experience behind the wheel, despite the road conditions and the weather.
As was already mentioned, the car comes with a unique Z-fold device. Thanks to it, the car’s soft textile roof folds and unfolds under 7 seconds while the car’s in motion (with a speed up to 50 km/h). Those precious seconds make it one of the fastest in its segment.
