Aston Martin DBX is a relatively new model (as of 2022), too new to have any substantial information on how it performs in terms of reliability and durability. When reviewed by different specialists and medias opinions share a largely positive note, making the model sound promising. One thing we know for sure is that the DBX’s powertrain - a Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine, has proven to be both high-performing and dependable in the past, thus contributing to the DBX's overall expected reliability.
Aston Martin DBX’s infotainment system is unfortunately what some might consider a disappointment for a vehicle in this class. Despite the central console display having considerable size of 10.25 inches, its resolution doesn’t seem to be great. While iPhone users do have the opportunity to connect their smartphones to the vehicle using Apple CarPlay, Android Auto is among the features currently missing from the technology kit of the DBX (as of 2022).
Along with being Aston Martin’s entrance to a whole new segment – its first SUV, the DBX is also the first car model to be produced at the manufacturer’s new facility in St Athan, Wales.
Despite the sporty exterior look, giving the impression of a somewhat cramped interior, Aston Martin DBX’s cabin actually offers some considerable space. It’s equally comfortable and luxurious both in the front and the back, with a full-length glass panoramic roof and frameless door glass letting plenty of light in and creating a feel of even greater room inside the DBX.
One would expect a luxury vehicle, especially a luxury SUV, to have an exhaustive set of amenities, in order to provide both drivers and passengers with great experience and comfort. And the Aston Martin DBX does meet these expectations and does not disappoint. Heated seats, both front and rear, are included it its standard kit.
