The 2021 model year Fiat Tipo range gives 3 engine size options: 1.0-liter (999 cm3 | 60.96 cu. in.) 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and 1.2- (1248 cm3 | 76.16 cu. in.) and 1.6-liter (1598 cm3 | 97.52 cu. in.) 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines.
The 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, that powers some 2021 model year Fiat Tipo vehicles, produces 100 Hp and 190 Nm of torque.
The more recent Fiat Tipo vehicles, from 2015 onwards, all achieve great fuel economy. The most fuel efficient ones being the 1.6 (120 Hp) ECO variants, with consumption figures of 3.4 l/100 km (69.18 mpg) and the least fuel efficient being the 1.4 (95 Hp) ones, consuming 7.2 l/100 km (32.67 mpg).
What differentiates the Fiat Tipo Cross from the rest of the Tipo range, is its more solid and robust looks, achieved through new design and increased height.
Fiat Tipo (Type 160) was discontinued in 1995, and the nameplate was not used again until 2015, when the Fiat Tipo (Type 356) was released.
Fiat Tipo was first revealed in the beginning of 1988 and sales began later that same year.
